Signing of a memorandum of understanding between Foxtrot and COP15

    As part of the implementation of the action plan to decarbonise our activities, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between FOXTROT International LDC and the UNCCD COP15 President’s Office, at the headquarters of the latter party.

    Mr. Alain-Richard Donwahi, UNCCD COP 15 President and Mr. Jean-Michel BONNET, Managing Director of FOXTROT, signed this agreement that sets out the guidelines for their collaboration.

    This MoU between FOXTROT International LDC and the UNCCD COP15 President’s Office sets out the guidelines for their collaboration to combat desertification, drought, land degradation and climate change.  

    Their collaboration under this MoU will focus on:

    • Combating desertification, drought and land degradation
    • Climate change
    • Carbon footprint
    • Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

    The actions expected of the stakeholders are as follows: 

    • Technical and financial support from FOXTROT International LDC's for the implementation of the roadmap of the UNCCD COP15 President’s Office
    • Support for FOXTROT International LDC in achieving its low-carbon strategy objectives and implementing its CSR policy
    • Drafting of a joint roadmap for the Parties to combat desertification, drought, land degradation and climate change 
    • Intensification of advocacy and communication around the actions of both parties

    The signing ceremony ended with a cocktail reception.
