FOXTROT (PFA) AND MARLIN (PFB)

Offshore production comprises all operational production activities taking place in the offshore perimeter. These are the primary treatment sites for effluent from producing wells, before it is transported to onshore terminals.

Average daily production

200 MMPC/D of natural gas and 1600 BBLS/D of oil

Location

Located 20 kilometers from Jacqueville, 8 km apart and interconnected by 2 pipelines, one 14“ (for natural gas) and the other 6” (for oil).

Installation date

  • PFA : 1999
  • PFB : 2015

Platform type

Main platforms levels

Boat landing: Platform level where surfers (boats carrying personnel) dock and passengers embark/disembark.

Cellar deck: Platform level where the fire pump, freshwater production unit and units for pumping liquid hydrocarbons to onshore sites are located. It also houses the produced water treatment units.

Production deck: This level of the platform houses the wellheads and processing units for natural gas and liquid hydrocarbons (including separators, dehydration unit and oil treater). It also houses the power generation unit.

The main deck: This level of the platform houses the other natural gas processing units and two turbo-compressors, which compress the natural gas for transport to the onshore processing sites. This is also where the living quarters are located.

Helideck: the level of the platform where the helicopter lands and takes off.
