FOXTROT International (FOXTROT) is an offshore oil operator and a 24% member of the association in charge of exploiting Block CI-27 in Côte d'Ivoire, whose other members are Société Nationale d'Opérations Pétrolières de Côte d'Ivoire - PETROCI SA (40%), SECI SA (24%), and Energie de Côte d'Ivoire - ENERCI (12%). FOXTROT is also the operator of Block CI-12 in Cote d'Ivoire, an exploration block, in association with its historical partners PETROCI and SECI.

FOXTROT, OPERATOR OF BLOCK CI-27

In a world where the electricity sector is growing by leaps and bounds, Cote d'Ivoire is no exception. FOXTROT, a major player for nearly a quarter of a century, plays a key role in the country's development.

As the main producer of natural gas in Cote d'Ivoire, FOXTROT supplies around 90% of the gas needed to power the electricity sector.

Our privileged partnership with CI-Energies, the national electricity supplier, enables us to supply the major thermoelectric power stations of AZITO, CIPREL, CIE.

FOXTROT, A RELIABLE OPERATOR

FOXTROT has an extensive network of facilities to support its business. Our operation of the CI-27 block requires extensive industrial infrastructure that is maintained and monitored on an ongoing basis. We have two platforms offshore the village of Addah, 20 km from Jacqueville. These platforms (FOXTROT and MARLIN) are interconnected by two 14-inch gas and 6-inch oil pipelines.

The FOXTROT Platform (usually referred to as PFA), installed in 1999, has a maximum production capacity of 154 million cubic feet of natural gas per day and 5,000 barrels of oil per day. It is accompanied by the MARLIN Platform (usually referred to as PFB), commissioned in 2015 and capable of producing up to 156 million cubic feet of natural gas per day and 10,000 barrels of oil per day, reinforcing our production capacity.

Our facilities include a network of gas and oil pipelines stretching more than 110 km, with block valve stations at Addah, Avagou and Vridi-Ouest. In addition, we have three effluent treatment stations (gas and light crude oil) in Abidjan (in Vridi in the commune of Port-Bouët, and in Azito, in the commune of Yopougon) and in Taboth ( in the Jacqueville department).

To meet the new challenges facing Côte d'Ivoire, FOXTROT has, as part of the “New Consumers” project, built a new pipeline network of some 99.7 km to ensure gas supply to the two new power plants: AZITO IV at Azito and ATINKOU at Taboth. This project has enabled us to increase gas processing capacity at the Azito site, to commission phase IV of the Azito thermal power plant in June 2022, and to supply natural gas for the commissioning of the new ATINKOU thermoelectric power plant in May 2023.

A COMMITMENT TO RESPECTING THE ENVIRONMENT

Committed to a decarbonization approach, FOXTROT has identified the sources of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in each of its activities and implemented a low-carbon strategy with a GHG reduction action plan. We are proud to be certified to ISO 9001:2015 (quality), ISO 14001:2015 (environment) and ISO 45001:2018 (occupational health and safety), demonstrating our commitment to meeting the requirements of international benchmarks and public authorities.

We continually invest in plant modernization and technological innovation to optimize our performance and minimize our impact on the environment. At FOXTROT, we believe in social and environmental responsibility, and we actively promote sustainability in our industry.

Our commitment to the nation has been recognized by the State, earning us several Awards of Excellence. These include the Excellence Award for Best Structure in the Hydrocarbons sector for two consecutive years in 2022 and 2023, the 2nd Ivorian Quality Award 2022 and the 3rd Excellence Award for Best Eco-citizen Company in 2019. We were also honored to be awarded the Prize for Environmental Protection and Sustainable Development from the Minister of the Environment and Sustainable Development in March 2023.
