Mission of the Production Department

The Production Department is one of the departments at the heart of FOXTROT INTERNATIONAL's activity.

MISSIONS

  • Deliver gas and liquid hydrocarbons in accordance with customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Organize and manage production, ensuring optimization of productivity and operational performance in compliance with quality, safety and environmental standards.

RESOURCES

To accomplish its mission, the Production Department relies on modern infrastructure and a working environment conducive to the development of its team, whose common core values are: operational excellence, trust, team spirit, quality, responsibility, listening and customer satisfaction.

SCOPE OF ACTION

The scope of action of the Production Department extends over several sites:

  • 2 offshore production platforms FOXTROT(PFA) & MARLIN(PFB) located approximately 18 km from the coast of the seaside town of Jacqueville
  • 3 onshore delivery terminals located in the municipalities of Port-Bouët (Vridi), Yopougon (Azito) & Jacqueville (Taboth), interconnected by a natural gas and hydrocarbon transport network liquids (crude oil & condensate).

OFFSHORE PRODUCTION ACTIVITIES

To carry out its mission, the Production Department is structured into 3 main business areas:

Offshore Production

Offshore production constitutes all operational production activities that take place in the Offshore perimeter, i.e. at sea.

It operates 2 PFA & PFB oil platforms installed in 1999 and 2015 respectively with a production potential of 230 Mpcd (Million cubic feet per day). These oil platforms are managed by teams of around ten operators each.

Good to know: The platforms are the primary treatment sites for effluents from the production wells before they are transported to the onshore terminals.

ONSHORE PRODUCTION ACTIVITIES

Onshore Production

Onshore production is all operational production activities that take place within the Onshore perimeter, i.e. on land.

The Production Department operates 3 delivery terminals:

  • The Vridi Est terminal, installed in 1999, ensures the delivery of natural gas to the thermal power plants of Ciprel, CIE & Aggreko and to third parties (SIR & Petroci).
  • The Azito terminal, which was commissioned in 1999 to ensure the delivery of natural gas to the Azito thermal power plant and to Petroci Poste source. This Delivery Station was extended with the construction of the Azito phase 2 station following the advent of the new consumers project.
  • The Taboth terminal, installed in 2023, as part of the new consumers project, ensures the delivery of natural gas to the Atinkou thermal power plant.

Good to know: Delivery terminals are the final processing locations for natural gas and liquid hydrocarbons before delivery to customers.

PRODUCTION ACCOUNTING ACTIVITIES

Production accounting

Production accounting is the division of the Production Department responsible for managing all production data. It manages the processes that govern the collection, processing and analysis of production data.
