Covid-19 : Bouygues group and SCDM medical supplies donation to the republic of Côte d’Ivoire

    In order to contribute to the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic, the Bouygues Group via its subsidiary Bouygues Construction and SCDM have jointly donated 600,000 surgical face masks to health services of the Republic of Cote d’Ivoire.

    These face masks were delivered on Tuesday, April 21, 2020 at Félix Houphouet-Boigny airport in Abidjan. A ceremony was held at the Ministry of Health, hosted by senior Ivorian government officials, mostly, Maître Adama Kamara, the representative of His Excellency Prime Minister Amadou Gon Coulibaly and Eugène Aka Aouélé, Minister of Health and Public Hygiene. Among the guests, the remarkable presence of French Ambassador to Côte d’Ivoire, His Excellency Gilles Huberson and representatives of Bouygues Construction subsidiaries operating in Côte d’Ivoire and of SCDM, respectively, Director General of SETAO Nicolas de Roquefeuil, representative of Bouygues Energies & Services Adam Youan Bi, representative of Bouygues Travaux Publics Christian Maure and Managing Director of Foxtrot International LDC Jean-Michel Bonnet (subsidiary of SCDM).

    This donation aims to strengthen the historic commitment of the Bouygues Group and SCDM to the Republic of Cote d’Ivoire. Such contribution is a move to support the ivorian government in its efforts to fight the coronavirus pandemic.

    The Minister of Health and Public Hygiene expressed his appreciation to the donors for their unwavering support to the Ivorian authorities.
